1. What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to retain and, depending on their configuration, return with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser facility that keeps values on the device until removed. Unlike a cookie, a localStorage value is not automatically attached to each network request. Similar privacy rules may still apply because both involve storing or accessing information on a device.
This static build of choicecabinstorypuls.mom uses local storage only to remember your cookie preference. It does not set an HTTP cookie through its own JavaScript. The inventory below describes these supplied files, not unknown additions made by a future hosting platform. Hosting configuration must be checked before launch.
2. Storage inventory
| Category | Name / technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | ccsp-consent-v1 First-party localStorage | Remembers accept, reject or custom choices, category flags, version and timestamp. | 180 days logically; removed or replaced on a later visit after expiry. |
| Analytics | None installed | No audience measurement or session tracking service is active. | Not applicable |
| Functional | None installed | No optional personalisation, embedded media or saved match selections are active. | Not applicable |
The preference record does not contain your name, email, message, advertising identifier or browsing history. It is stored separately for each browser profile and site origin. Choices on one device do not automatically transfer to another.
3. What the three choices mean
“Accept All” records approval for the optional categories shown in the preference panel. “Reject Non-Essential” records both optional categories as disabled. “Preferences” lets you choose each category individually before saving. Essential preference storage remains enabled so the site can remember your decision.
No optional services are installed, so accepting does not currently load analytics, advertising or functional software. A future service with a new purpose or materially different processing would require an updated policy and appropriate consent rather than silently relying on a broad historic choice. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent access to any guide or contact information.
4. Change or withdraw your choice
Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page to reopen the panel. Clear the optional checkboxes and save, or choose “Reject Non-Essential”. The replacement preference applies immediately in this browser. Because there are no optional cookies to remove, withdrawal changes the record without needing to contact a third party.
You can also delete the site’s cookies and local storage through browser settings. The banner will return on a later visit because the saved choice is gone. If your browser blocks local storage, the site remains readable, but a dismissed banner may return after navigation or reload. Private browsing may discard your choice when the private session ends.
5. Browser opt-out instructions
In Chrome, open Settings, then Privacy and security, and locate site data or site settings; search for this domain and delete its stored data. In Edge, look under Settings, Cookies and site permissions, then the controls for managing cookies and site data. Menu wording can vary by version.
In Firefox, open Settings, Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data and Manage Data. Find this domain and remove it. In Safari on macOS, open Settings, Privacy, then Manage Website Data. On iPhone or iPad, Safari’s Advanced settings include Website Data. Use the browser’s help search if your version places these controls elsewhere.
Blocking all storage can affect other websites’ sign-in or shopping features. This site has neither. Browser tracking signals do not need to disable any advertising system here because none is installed, and there is no sale or sharing for behavioural advertising in this build.
6. Questions and related information
For wider information about correspondence, possible hosting logs and privacy rights, read the privacy policy. Cookie questions can be directed to [email protected]. The proposed operator details and mailbox require verification before live use. This policy must be revised if deployment adds cookies, processors, embedded content or new storage purposes.
